Ash i have the e mail but the attachments want to be saved as a Winzip file?

I'm crap at computings so although it says they've been saved somewhere they won't open... Obviously my lack of PC talents.

Tutuur, i'm afraid your pic fails as it's not from where you live

Criteria is: A photo of your car next to a point of interest in your town, a bonus point being a fact about the point of interest.

Deadline is tomorrow (5th November) but happy to extend till say Friday. I have 2 entrants albeit I can't open Ashys pics my bad so this gives other people a chance to take part. How does that sound?

    Re: RTOC photo comp 2013

Before i go ahead with anything, do i PM the winner BEFORE posting pics or just go ahead and announce the winner and runners up on the thread with the pics all at the same time??

I don't want to get this all wrong

    Re: RTOC photo comp 2013

Well, after sifting through all the entries...... 3 to be exact, and 2 of them from 1 person i've chosen a winner. So a big thank to Ashy and 'DJ Craig' for taking the time to head out to somewhere of interest locally to take a pic.

    In SECOND PLACE...... DJ CRAIG

FACT: My 5 parked infront of a old coal mine site wich as now been turned into a leisure center, the wheel you see at the front was used on the old mine shaft and the leisure center has been designed to look like a wheel.

    In FIRST PLACE......... ASHY

FACT: Its 54 metre (175 feet) wingspan is bigger than a Boeing 757 or 767 jet and almost the same as a jumbo jet.

I liked the way you used the iconic statue as a makeshift Roll Royce badge for the 5

    And here's the second photo

    Re: RTOC photo comp 2013

Late, very very non official entry, as the photo isn't current & has been seen before & the car is on a trailer. Just thought some might be interested.

Photo taken outside the Cat & fiddle pub at the top of the infamous Macclesfield to Buxton "cat & fiddle run" on the A537 Often referred to as the most dangerous road in britain.

However in recent years the whole thing is a average speed health & safety farce.

Facts: Macclesfield is known for the the silk industry, Buxton is a victorian spa town now famous for its bottled spring water & read about the A537 here.

    Thanks
