    Door card putty

    Does anyone know what the grey sticky putty is called that's used behind the door cards. The super sticky stuff.

    lol a pain in the arse is what is called mate,strong stuff though,can bend the door cards if heavy handed sticks like a bitach,im sure its able to pick some up and reanult???you could use some silicon?but saying that that adehesive dosnt set on the 5

    I saw it in strips on wheeler dealers but didn't pay any attention to it, I need a few strips to attach some trim.

    i didnt realise that was standard lol its a fecking nightmare... me kids keep getting it on there clothes. They think its great.

    if its to attach trim then no nails is pretty good ive used that a few times at work sticks well but sand down the area for a good key,have a check on the net.
    lol its not to stop leaky rear doors on the leon is it

    No the Leon's mint and doesn't leak. Plus it's for sale soon.

    I've got to stick some exterior trim back onto a car and one strip would be ace.
    Guess I better keep a eye out for the Morris minor on wheeler dealers and pay attention this time

    haha i missed that one,seen it advrtised but i was watching something else,break the leon and stick the lump in the 5,either that or get a ibiza cupra,there qucik.seems ppl are after leons but its all about the FR desiels

    Just got another mondeo diesel and it will do double mpg and its 1/4 of the price of the leon.

    But I need to stick the bumper trim back on.

    they can be a bit of a drinker for petrol ok driving toyr ok but doing a fair few miles it can cost upwards in pertol,curpa is ok but the R might be diffrent?but i wouldnt see much in diffrence

    be good to know what that stuff is called, as its not super sticky to not be able to get off, holds it well, but can still peel plastic sheet off when needed

    Use numberplate mounting double sided foam strip. Cheap, easy to remove, doesnt stick to clothes, weatherproof and durable.
