idiots guide to setting up a trigger wheel

    as above...

i've got the engine to TDC, need to get exact position on wheel... when i say this i've got it to TDC, rotated clockwise 9 teeth, but where does the sensor sit in relation to the 9th tooth.. middle of sensor to middle of tooth, or left hand side of sensor to leading edge of tooth.. hope it makes sense what i'm asking

any pics or detailed info that my simple brain can understand would be pretty awesome

When at TDC the gap needs to be roughly 90 degress BTD. Simple as that. So @ TDC 90 deg Clockwise of TDC.

BTW - if you carry a spare 'fan belt' make sure you have a torx screwdriver in with it as you will need to remove that sensor should you spit a belt.

Rtfm... Read the instructions and there is a mode to set it to 0deg, that way I can use the oe timing mark and a timing light, the nodiz does +/- 20deg so it's almost idiot proof... Should have read that first really lol. Thanks tho Andy, and ill keep a spare t30 in my bag of tools :-)
