    water pump

Just taken off my old loud water pump to find the bottom far corner bolt was already snapped off. It is too short to get out with mole grips. It was not leaking before so hope it won't leak when new gasket and pump are fitted. Should i get some water sealant stuff to put in that corner aswell to be safe??

Ideally you want to get the bolt out and replace it with a new one but if you can't them a nice bit of sealent on the gasket and pump should seal it up nice.

the remaining part of the bolt only sticks out about 3mm!! I will put plenty of sealant round it!!!
