    Slimline Fan?

What maximum size fan can be used on a standard radiator? Don't want to drain too much power but want something a bit more efficent.

15" all the way but running 19 16v rad. What is wrong with your fan though? They are up for the job if cooling system is correct, you got low temp fan switch and thermostat? Struggles more trying to keep it too cold for what the engine is designed for

Nothing is wrong with the fan, the radiator has about had it! Getting a new radiator and was tempted to get a slimline fan at same time. Have no fan switch that is manual and have a standard 83 degree thermostat. I hear mixed reports about low temp thermostats!!

11 or 12 depending on the design of the fan. Talking about standard GTT rad...
