mine just recently had the tip of the paper boys finger nearly off
a few years back he decided it was a good idea to go straight through the front pvc double glazed door to greet the paperboy
if i open the door to the paper boy its a whole different story, he just has a sniff, if he likes, he mounts..and i laugh

MikeA: Yeah i bought him from a breeder when he was 2 months old and around 6 INCHES! long haha,a lot of ppl dont realise how big Iguanas get after a couple years (they double in size over the first 2 years and a healthy 1 should be about 2 to 2 and a half foot long @2 years old).In captivity the average lifespan is around 10-12 years so he's doing well at 14!..........Once adult they are mainly vegetarian but still like the odd "meat treat" which would be a fresh week old baby chick,locusts or baby mice but that should only be about once or twice a week,just fruit and veg the rest of the time................they dont mind being handled although scratches are inevitable due to thier claws being like needles at the tip (for tree climbing).Thier behaviour...well they dont do much except bask under thier heat source,eat lots and climb around and there never going to fetch the paper or roll on thier back and play dead haha but i like them,ever since i was a kid i was fascinated by dinosours and this is the closest thing i could get other than a crocdile which are slightly illegal and a real ******* handfull or i'd have 1 of those too.

i like me fish . ive got 11 carp and two pleco plus one gibby . in a six foot tank
the gibby is over 14" long
the carp are about 4lb each, commans and mirrors
i used to have cats but they got old and past on to the cat world in the sky
spocky was mahosive he liked to catch and eat pigeons , many a time ive had to clear up the feather explosotion
trixy the sister of spocky my other cat went on to nearly 19years she retired to next door were they looked after her very nicly.
i will have to say that pets are pets and should be looked after , now here is the crunch big question
would you report a pet that you think is badly treated. ( i have a reason for asking this as there is a few dogs up my road that i think are not treated to well).
do you have proof of the mistreatment?
what are you classing as "not treating well"?
i would get the rspca to pay them a visit.
maybe do some detective work?
Definitely! If I knew for a fact that it was being poorly treated, I'd ask the RSPCA to visit them
