MOT today- result- failed on rear brake binding and emissions. Just been tuned and has a new exhaust system on- so think the mot blokes been a bit harsh.
Not very happy. More money to spend.
Easy fix, tweak the mixture screw on the carb and a little copper grease on the calliper sliding parts!
If you want to pop over we can sort that out for you.
Cheers Dale- can't move it, tax ran out today and mot is gone. So gonna tackle it here. Gutted aint the word.
The emissions should have 3% and they were 5%.
Ai, as has been said above.....
Just a tweak to the mixture screw. Remember how many winds you give it so you can just set it back again after the MOT so there's no change to the fuelling set up. It's a 30 second job IIRC
The rear brakes are a pain in the butt. Hopefully that's just a bit of loosening/greasing.
MOT and Taxed for a year today. 1 advisory for a track rod end ball joint dust cover.
Cheers to Scotty for helping me out doing the brakes last week. He came down and down 99% of it when I was ill last week.
So I'm now ready for the Enfield pageant. Just some little bits to do wash/wax and detail.
