economy build quality safety grip handing in car entertainment sat nav air con power steering..... lists pretty endless and that could all be bought alot cheaper than 12k as much as i love the 5 its not a patch on a modern car. apart from a drag race, and grin factor

but even the drag race can cost that fair bit ........even with a side exit on a std engine it still kind of drank the petrol

I would also check that the old sun roof dosnt leak.also see if the cills are 100% or been replaced,when that body kit is off then thats another story

I know I appreciate they need things but I don't want to start with a dog .
Grey or white or red is for me . but it has to be unmolested what ever I buy .

as has been stated bodywork is the most costly of repairs, make sure its solid, sills jacking points rear arches, rear axle mounting point, front windscreen.

Mate, i was in same boat as you only a month ago..
I held out for it and got it.
That car looks like a better condition than mine but i got gear box, head, grills, braide pipes, jets & **** loads of other stuff for £1400 with 1Y MOT etc etc.

fate is fate, if its meant to be, its meant to be..

Don't rush in with a fist full of dollars..
Stick to your guns.. if it hasnt gone already then its maybe a little or too much asking price..

There is loads of pics and looks like it needs loads of paint u might get the body kit off and be well rotten like some one said. I think 1900 max . Even though its had a clutch. I'm sure I'll find one. But not a mint a my last.
