Phase one bits

I've been asked to help find some ph1 parts for a rebuild. At the moment he's after a ph1 bumper and front seats or bolsters and material.
I have already told him these are as rare as and to get the vaseline in but you never know.

Ross, no this has been in his possession since 2001 but has been in storage for 10 years though it is black. Only 46k so got to be one of the lower mileage 1's out there.

You will be glad you stayed away from that car. That was very bad and not worth the £1500 what it went for on ebay

Never the less, I was very tempted. Now I think about it, mark mentioned you were going to look at it. How bad was it? I saw the bumper was roughly bolted on and tramps had eaten the seats.

Body kit sprayed on arches and side skirts. Front bumper bolted through front. Rear arches cracked. Rear bumper side mount drivers side rotted away. Drivers side front jacking point rotten. Around windscreen rotten, behind dash passenger side from what can see behind dash is rotten. Dents in both rear quarters and ripples in both doors. Seats all ruined, interior smells mouldy. Complete respray needed as paint is cracked under the lacquer especially on roof.

Good bits
Inner sills looked tidy, front grill was good, engine ran but need a good tidy up in there.

With all that you would also need to do all tyres, sort out brakes, service engine, plus possibly bearings, driveshafts, and any other rubber joint which could be gone with just sitting there

My opinion car is worth close to £500 really
