Track rod ends, steering rack ends, bottom ball joints, universal joints, Steering rack, wheel bearings, if there all good then tracking miles out can make it feel awfull.

i mean check them dont just replace them. lol Jack the car up and hold the front and back of the wheel and try to turn the wheel by hand wiggling, you should be able to feel some sort of clunking play. or if you can get someone to wiggle the steering wheel while you feel the components for play.

    Re: Steering problems

if the steering wheel moves before the wheels even think of moving, start by changing the universal joint at the bottom of the steering column, as it attaches to the rack. - they always fail.

do that first, and see how it feels.

UJ can be welded, well worth doing as it makes the steering SO much tighter!
