    c1j + bike throttle bodies

has anyone looked into doing this? just thinking with a collector box it would be easier than messing about with single throttle bodies and injector mounts in custom manifolds etc. my gixxer is injection so already has injectors in the bodies, tps etc etc

Re: c1j + bike throttle bodies

The main problem with bike throttle bodies is getting them to seal properly, that is, if they weren't designed to be put in a forced induction system they may leak boost.

Getting the throttle linkages to work properly is also very important. Mudslinger tried bike bodies but ran into problems. I'm not saying they can't be made to work but, it's not as easy as it may seem.

Also, you'd still need to make up a manifold to convert from C1J cylinder head to bike bodies.

    Just my ten cents.

Would it not be easier to fit throttle bodies of a turbo car that had them fitted as standard from the factory. Ie Nissan pulsar/ sunny gtir?

Getting a manifold made isnt an issue, and the 636 has been turbo'd so should seal... I hope

It wasn't their fault, fact is they had never tried mapping 1 before and I didn't have the setup right.

Before I got rid of the vnt I had it working just fine on emerald, had a stable 20psi all day long and no spikes at all.
