    She came, she ran,she conquered!

Excellent days sprinting at 3 Sisters yesterday.

Beautiful sunshine all day, leading after 1st practice, then I lost all the boost pressure and discovered that the actuator arm had come off the wastegate. Fixed that, then leading by just 0.02sec. Then I lost the lead by 0.3 sec on the second to last run and so had to try a different gear at one corner. It paid off and I won with a new PB time of 51.66 sec. High drama

A huge big thanks has to go to Scoff. I left a very sick Doris with him on Good Friday and after a few days of his ministrations he has given me back a fire breathing sprint winning race car

BHP not that spectacular but its all about low lag and mid range torque.

As for films a amateur film maker asked if he could use me and Doris as a subject for a short film. Here is the result

Woznaldo I almost sent my ECU back to Adaptronic not that far from Sydney to have them enable it for 4 wheel speed sensing, however Scoff got the gen from Andy on how to do it and saved my ECU a trip around the world.

It would seems that the Aussies can put together a mean ECU, Adaptronic, Autronic, Haltech and lets not forget the very top end MoTeC.

Russ's car would be road going, Andy's car would be mod prod.

(do you still have the old rainbow warrior Andy?).

Re: She came, she ran,she conquered!

I run in a "Road Modified class" its a bit of a mongrol as it isnt a true MSA class but a local one developed originaly by the Harewood Hill Climb and adopted by many clubs in the North of England

Here is a link to the class list Im in 1b 1400 to 2l (as the turbo multiplies your capacity by 1.4) and if you scroll down you will see what you can do to the car.

    http://www.speedchampionship.com/wp-...-1-12-11-2.pdf

As for my turbo its a T25 supplied by Ian Nixon with a 360 deg thrust bearing no idea on the details of the compresor wheel.
