    tinny noise at 2000rpm

Hi people I've noticed a tinny vibration noise from the engine bay at 2000rpm in all gears it sounds like a heat shield or something, after about 2250rpm it goes away, its a bit annoying especially pulling away from lights etc any ideals other than this the cars going fine with know other issues to date, I'm hoping someone has come a cross this before to save a lot of time thanks

I had something similar, it was the heatshead under the carb one of the 10mm bolts had worked loose.

    Worth a look anyway

Check the alloy guard that goes over the flywheel, mine came loose and made a similar noise

Look towards the rear of the block, and go in armed with some spanners and tighten everything in sight

I had a rattlle, but only on overrun @ around 2krpm. Everything felt reasonably tight, but once I nipped up the down pipe/exhaust a bit more it disappeared
