    60mm rad, any good?

Thinking of getting one of these, anyone used one?
    What your thoughts?
Sent them an email and this one doesn't include an oil cooler but for an extra £10 it does. Think i'm gonna get sperate oil cooler anyway with ports for pressure and temp sensors.

They are the same product as the link below and will most likey be bought from ASI performance, I had ASI develop these rads a few years ago and used to sell them myself! Sold over 100 of them and never had one complaint in fact used to get people emailing me to rave about how good they are!
Might as well cut out the middle man and by direct from the supplier, make him a cheeky offer and you probably get it delivered for around £90!!!

They don't seem like the same Radiators? The ASI has a core thickness of 36mm and overall thickness of 53mm.

The first Radiator has an overall thickness of 60mm (as measured across the end tank) but the core thickness is not stated? Granted, it could just be the end tanks that are different but a question to the seller would clear that up.

I've been looking at a Radiator with a bit more cooling capacity as the ambient temps can get to 45 dec C.

    Re: 60mm rad, any good?

Been in connect with the seller, they say the core thinkness is 54mm.

    My next question is-
Is it worth fitting an external oil cooler and thermosat?

I want to fit an afermarket oil pressure gauge as my oe gauge doesn't work and might fit oil temp gauge also. Should i just fit a sandwich plate with ports for these gauges?
I'm only running a T2 hybrid at around 10psi, apart for an uprated clutch and lightened and balanced flywheel everything else is stock.

    Thanks in advance.

An original Valeo rad will do you fine if your running a pretty much original engine, no need for alloy one
