    Head work

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Im in the process of doing a engine rebuild, I would like to get some head work done, ported, flowed etc. I would also like to change all valves and new valves springs along with anything else that should be done.

Now im finding it very hard to find a company that can do all this for me and are recomended.

can anyone recomend any where. Im in Devon, but dont mind where it is as im willing to post the head off to be done? Also what kind of prices am i looking at for this work to be done??

    many thanks

i've heard some claim a 10-15%increase for flowing and matching ect.but i've never seen a back to back rolling road showing that on a 5 turbo!!waste of money for a turbo car is my opinion!!?

    Re: Head work

you sometimes see the guys with bigger inlets go a couple mph quicker in the 1/4m. the same guys that are pushing past the 230hp barrier. if your not making much power to begin with then a big-valve cylinder head with work to match won't make much difference. you'd also want to make sure you had the right camshaft for the job too

There's a few pics of my CTM head and flywheel etc on the link in my profile. I would recommend them - nice blokes. Charlie is the man to speak to.
