    Back on the road

after alot of head scratching, cut knuckles and cold days i gave up on the clio dash, deciding it was to much work for a guy like me in the winter in a back yard,

so got a new bumper, shortened the plate recess, removed the two holes in the bottom and smoothed the bump strips, also had to part paint the carbon bonnet,

i like the end result tho, also flocked aaaall the interior plastics, fitted a new seat and black carpet,oh and also repaired all the accident damage, including a new front mount and front panel from renault, got the car jigged but was still straight so that was one less hassle, anywho, pics ar up on my profile if any bodys interested

also re-did the turbines, orange with a polished face....did all 4 befor deciding the car wasnt bling enough to pull it off,so just painted them how they were befor ,doh!

like that man, my plan was to do my turbines the same as them.. damn Btw dont ever ever go to sfs , they are shite, they did my friends escort dash,, it was a joke, it came back damn cream, and full of runs was crap , so he sent it back to a diffrent flocking place (central i think) and they redid it , in the mean time after lots of conflict he got his cash back from sfs

Yeh same here! I found some kits on frost's website, various colours aswel!
Order mine at weekend I think.

I have had a few quotes to have my 5 dash done and you are really looking around the £210 mark.

I could have a go myself, bugger it up and source a 5 dash for less than that!
I know it is about quality.....but from the looks of it Mr 5 has done more than a top job!

    Re: Back on the road

yeah, id rather do it myself and have it not quite perfect, than pay loads and loads and have no satisfaction... lol

had a look on frosts site, but couldn't make sense of the colours, want black top, and simiar grey to the 16v dash for the grey bits... std with a twist

as for the 5 in the thread, makes me miss mine being tungy.. my fave 5 too
