    Re: nissan micra 2004 help

does the chain sound noisy? very common for stretching then the cam sensor going out of sync with the crank sensor.... have they scoped the sensor to see if its working? or just read the code and said cam sensors broke?

No point in buying new parts if they are not faulty, do a resistance test with a multimeter.

    Re: nissan micra 2004 help

    wipe the rocker cover off

if the chain tensioner is out more than 10mm the chain is knackered

i used to do these privately £500 all in using nissan parts with the engine in situ, can do the job in under 3 hours if you have done a few
