My 5GTT ph1 rebuild

Well just thought id do a small thread of my project, as i havent explaned what ive been doing in a while

last Feb, not ideal i can tell you ! Id always wanted to go more o.e with the car so it gave me a good opertunity to do it. I bought a really really solid black shell and set about swapping all the bits that were salvagable from the smashed car onto the new shell ....Pretty much everything on the old car was new / replaced so i was able to re-use most of it again

Now, i had collected pretty much all the ph1 bodykit brand new from Renault over the years and wanted to use it on the rebuild https://www.rtoc.org/boards/album.php?albumid=54

I havent got many pics of the swapping over of the bits tbh, but heres a pic from today where myself and Nick K ( thanks mate ) finished off all the wireing and got all the electrics finished. The new bodykit is fitted and im just waiting to drop the rebuild lump in next weekend ( see this thread ) https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=25699

Anyway, heres some pics from today, few cosmetic bits to do and some o.e wheels to refurb before i MOT it next month. Its sitting front high due to no engine

No worries mate, my feet have just about defrosted now

And don't do a mix and match on phase 1 ,2 and campas electrics in your car again as they dont work very well
