    Oil breather setup?

    Havent got the hoses yet but just wondered whats the best setup? Standard way or? Iv also made a oil catch tank at work which i want to add to the system

    Block off the inlet manifold connection, and run the crank & rocker cover breathers to a catch-tank, a la Cup car setup.

    may i ask.. why is this the best setup?

    why would you block anything off? surely it all needs to breath else they wouldnt of done it out the factory..?

    im still in the novice stages of gtt engines so your answers would be most appreciated

    I imagine the original reason for the closed breather setup is to recirulate the fumes back into the system rather than into the atmosphere.

    big advantage for me of running without the inlet breather is the extra room freed up by having less hoses about the shot.
