Err no the tickets remain on sale until the draw date .
i was under the impression it will take place when 125 will be sold and entries will close at midnight that night? why do the rules keep changing. whos in charge of this?

Well that was a good idea when it looked like it might take a couple of months to sell the last 30. But now it's like there's a 'ground rush' and all of a sudden we're nearly there.
If the last few sell as fast as then would we want keep it on hold for that meet up? I think the committee would be unpopular for making everyone wait that long and we'd have to agree another way to do the draw. If the last few do take nearly another 2 months, then we may as well have the draw at that RR day on the 22nd with the PFC magazine there. That would be a pretty good thing, the prize and some members there, maybe the winner, and all perhaps printed in the PFC mag. Great kudos for the RTOC.

Pathetic. It's still not agreed between those who have a stake in running this operation and yet I got it in the neck for flagging this up as an issue that ought to be sorted.
FFS guys, just defer to Lomo. Cap the number of tickets (I still think a max of an extra five on top of the 125 simply to cover club costs), agree a draw date and stick to it. If that's 22nd Oct then fine. So what if it's 6 weeks away? Perfect. Use that time to build the clamour and ensure that it's a big event and allow people to plan to be there, it's worth waiting for!
Additionally I'd like to say congratulations to all those that have put effort into this (even if some of it has been a bit like a tug-of-war between some of you).
Whatever the administration difficulties, this IS now a successful club venture and one member is going to be very happy come the end of October
