I bought a dci last year, and went for the a 2004 dci 80 as the mpg is better than the other dci's. I would have gone for a dci 100 if I'd have found a decent one... Even tho the mpg is slightly worse, the disc brake all round sold me (hate drums).

Went for the dynamique trim level tho. Couldn't get hold of the one up (initiale) but that has cruise control

I was after just a good MPG car, this seems logical and of course still a Renault.

I had the 106hp version, good car, used and abused as it was a driving school car, went for the 106 version due to 6 speed gearbox & plenty of power, did a few laps around the ring aswell, always 4 up and boot full of sh*t. no problems what so ever apart from a janky steering collum (renault never did say what caused the problem), i did 60k in 18months, clutch, gearbox, steering, suspension felt as good then as it was new

Am averaging 68mpg. Best has been 75mpg... Real figures, not trip computer estimates.
