    Renting Workshops?

Hello, I'm wanting to do some mechanical work on my car, and seeing as my garage at home would hardly house a pair of gnats bollocks wheres best to try and hire a workshop for a month or two? What headings could I put in the Google search?

Rates are pretty expensive nowadays. Well, they are around London anyway. It may be different 30-40 miles out...

i doubt anyone would rent you one for a month or two. they tend to be a long term thing.
ive been in mine for a few years now. £140 a month. get 3 cars in there and loads of stuff.

ive been on the look out for a unit/garage for ages now, the whole idea of breakins puts me off though, seems they always always get broken into.. i think the next best thing is maybe find somebody with a decent garage and offer to pay rent on it.

    Re: Renting Workshops?

I'm was on the lookout to buy one.... one came up in Woking last year that could fit 2 cars at a push, but i would have been able to get 1 car, a generator and all my tools in there. Sadly it was £14k.
Lots of single garages come up for about £6k near me, but they only fit 1 car with no space to store or work.

Currently got a council garage (£42 a month).

Reading council rents out garages, maybe contact them and see if they have any doubles on the go?
