    quick response needed

    my battary light stays on when engines running and sometimes just flashes.

    anybody know why.

    need to know a.s.a.p.

    Loose earth or alternator... poss battery

    Check the out put on the alternator. Have you messed around with the wires on the back of the altetnator?

    not realy messed with anyting mate.

    ill look for a loose earth then.alternater should be fine,was brand new last year.

    Check voltage across your alt/bat terminals

    this was happening to mine quite a bit and everytime it did the radio switch off, proper annoying.

    it turned out to be a loose wire earthing on the back of the alternater

    the little pack on the top of the alternator wears out.. you can buy them on there own and only cost 15 quid or so, i bought one years back and it sorted my flickering out..

    where can i get one from m8 , mines flickered for years , light comes on if ive got more than one electrical thing on at the same time like lights and wipers or lights and brake .....

    Check the connector plug (and more so the yellow wire) at the top of the alternator.
