Ive also learnt never to tell people to "put SOME oil in it" because regardless of the level they usually just buy some and put it in. lol

My friend once told me she had topped her oil up yet the light wouldn't go off. Turns out she put about an egg cup full in through the dipstick hole.

We had a taxi in the other week, for a few bits and bobs, we turned him away about 6 months before because we couldnt do the welding needed. i put the ramp leg on the sill and ...... pretty sure u can geuss where thats going, or where the ramp leg ended up going lol. i rang him and told him we couldnt do the work on it because of the sills, his answer was.... "well it passed the mot" shocking. Complete disregard for the safety of his passengers.

    I love threads like this.

The best one at my work (Postie), was during a foot of snow a couple of years back. Customer rings up, fuming, demanding to speak to a manager:

"I've had no post for 2 days"

"Sorry Sir, but due to the snow we've been unable to complete deliveries...bla bla bla bla..... However, if you're local, and near the office, you can pop in with some ID, and collect any mail for you that's already been sorted."

"I can't come down to the delivery office. There's a foot of snow outside, and I can't get out the end of my road"

Ah yes, good old Mcdonalds! Most staff but I will admit not all are like this:-

    "Hello can I help you"
"Yes please, can I have a medium big mac meal with a coke"
"Is that a large meal sir?"
    "No, a medium please"
    "What drink would you like"
    "COKE!!!!"

Honestly this happens to me quite a lot. The art of listening and remembering is lost on the youth of today I think. I know the till asks if its a large or medium after you have selected a big mac meal and then asks what drink but surely its not hard to remember I have said ""Can I have a medium big mac meal with a coke" when these auto prompts come up!?!

    Re: Silly customers/people :D

I could wright a book honest.

Customers trying to go though the wash with a bike on the roof.

Customers asking should i hoover or wash my car first.

Its a conveyor wash so brakes off car in neutral, the amount of times people put the hand brakes on, or drive an automatic and don't know where neutral is, im screaming N N N Nuuuuuu.

People driving all the way through the wash when i sak them to stop, then complaining after that there wash is no good.

"Hello i want my car cleaned", ok then what sort of valet would you like? "cleaned inside and out". I now always ask quick tidy up or something more thorough?

Can a soft top go through, yeah its fine, i can just lift the horizontal brush over the roof if you would prefer, then they drive away.

I pick up the jet gun to jet their car and they sit there looking at me with their window down.

My brother has a recovery truck and he parks further down the site when in for a cuppa, the amount of people that park behind it thinking its in the que for the wash.

Rainy days we have the shutters down bar about 1ft, with the valet inside the wash working away on it, then you hear a voice from under the shutter "are you open?"

We had a guy bring a rifle in the other week. 1 round in the chamber with the safety off and 3 more in the magazine. When we confronted him on it he claimed it had been in his boot for weeks and he didn't realise it was loaded.

Another one i had, went to undo a set of wheels with an impact gun, fairly decent one with a fair bit of tourque and it wasnt even budging, then i tryed my other impact one from the airline, after holding it there with the button right back for atleast 5 seconds it sligtly budges. i then got a tourqe wrench out to kinda work out what the guy had it set to, in the end roughly worked out he had them torqued up to 350NB!! i couldnt believe it he told me later on when i mentioned it to him he gave then a finaly TIGHTEN before he took it away !!
