    Best car noise ever ??

    Im sure its been discussed before but id thought i see what peoples opinions on the best sounding car / engine ever were

    some early F1's had the guts to run 80psi in qualifying.....

    and some 6R4's had been known to peak at 50psi....LOL......in a Rover....

    6R4 didn't have a turbo.

    A few did get converted.

    XJ220 would be one example of a turboed 6R4 engine

    yes it was a V6 turbo so it must have been converted along the way.....twas very awesome ....


    that was one of a few tranny that got souped up........never seen that one but have seen a few running cossies and old faithfuls V8's..

    the best noise from an engine in a car ive ever heard goes to the chap that dropped a merline spitfire engine into a mock up rolles royce

    R/R didnt like it and tryed to sue, but as he used all R/R parts to creat the car he got away with it . as far as i know only one was ever built
