    how to route clutch cable

just wondering how exactly the clutch cable should be routed,, changed mine but didnt note how ti came off, fitted the new one and it works, but i feel like the clutch goes a little to far down, also i had to cable tie it to keep it off the downpipe therefore i have a feeling its not routed corectly.

just zip tie it up or just leave it thats what i have done its fine....there is a clip along the passenger chasis leg to they often fail, easy enough to rig something up satisfactory tho.

well ideally if you have the correct clips there then clip it in them, but i dont have any issues,as long is it does not rub or wear on anything.

For correct operation it needs to be routed correctly and the outer casing clipped to the holders. It also needs to be clipped in the rear engine mount holder.

Re: how to route clutch cable

from using the pic from 6129 profile i wud route the cabe this way and so its sits just behind the engine mount.it should sit there ok use a cable tie as well if you want.with the cable sat like this u atleast know its far away from the down pipe where as i have had the cable melt straight through and even onto the metal.you can place the cable into the brackets but its not a easy job trying to remove the cable once it snapseven worse if you have the old heat sheild in place.
