    idle jet

ive pulled me idle jet out and found the little part is missing within the jet ( silver part ) what does that part do ? as my car runs fine when cold. but when i get to lights ect it cuts out once engine is hot, could this be a cause or make it over fuel

    Re: idle jet

i think its just there to reduce the size of the mixing chamber or the interior of the holder....cant see it causing the overfueling....but you never know, maybe its there for heavy braking!!
