    It's here .
Solid as a rock it seems with no rust of note anywhere I shall pop it in for MOT in the morning ,I reckon it'll go straight through
Need to give it a clean and sort out the fade to grey trim first then some wheels .

If it would come of you could have it but I'm afraid it's rather brittle
Really pleased with it ,starts on the button and everything works ,even the original ? tape deck .

    Re: Just bought a skip

Was only kidding mate.. I knew it wouldn't come off !

Nice motor tho' nonetheless, I know it ain't a GTT but the basic 5 still looks pleasing and I do a double-take whenever I see one. The old dear down our road has got an N reg 1.4 Campus.. I got it started for her a while back (flat battery), the engine bay has got enough room in it for a small gathering of buffalo!

Torsion bars are easy on these, either create a puller to pull them out, theres no torx etc holding them in, just a plastic end cover. Of if you dont have a puller you can smash them all the way through and out the other side.

I need to go and bodge something up now on the GTA and rattle can some satin over the dead insects on the bonnet to mend the status quo .

    Re: Just bought a skip

Of course we need to do some lowering but GTA turbines fit 6"x 15 and even the 8.5" rears...
Need a 6 mm spacer ish on the rear but I have first refusal on a set of rears with big stretch
Just need to convince Me-Dawny that they are safe and , as they will cost more than the car did ,that it makes sense
She is asking silly questions like " why can't we just keep the wheels that are already on it "
