noticed it goes into the offside inner wing

can any kind samaratin give me a idiots guide on how to change the choke cable and hints or tips?

Yea it runs inside the driver side wing panel, I think the best approach is arch liner out so you can thread it through correctly. Disconnect it first from the carb and then pull it back inside the wing, Pull the choke mech out of the dash last so at this point it will pull though easy and out the dash without destroying the choke mech assembley. disconnect and re-connect in reverse order.

I dont think the cable will pull through with taking the above apart from memory incase you were wondering!?

Just take note of exactly where it runs so you get the nice turns in it, for that smooth operation Enjoy.
