R5 Turbo 2 Specialist in the US??
First post!
Good day
Have owned a R5 T2 for over a year here in the states & love it dearly but have not been able to get it tuned right. It has a bad flat spot until 3500K then spools up & misses slightly. Anyone know a contact anywhere here that can look at it or advise?
Has only 14K KM on it and is in prime shape with new injectors and ignition parts but I just don't have the experience to set mixture well.
Would greatly appreciate some direction and/or sources.

Welcome to the club, dont know of any members on here in the US, so could have a few issue's, but we do have plenty of members who have good info regarding T2's... & hopefully they can advise you or a mechanic on what to look for.

Welcome to the club. I would maybe Speak to sparkie or scoff from off of here, who have a decent knowledge of such a great car.

you need to see if the ignition timing has been set first.
get an adjustable timing light. at 1000rpm it should be about 8-10deg advanced. at 3000rpm is should 27deg advanced.
also check you are running the correct sparkplugs - B8EFS i think they are.
i fitted an MSD2 coil to my old car - much better spark.
