It's been up for sale since November last year, less than 40 odd km on the clock, import car with the highest grade they give.

I won't lie when I say I want it, i'd just have to sell everything i've bought for my car, so far, to afford it.

I'd love to know who started all these over-inflated prices of gtt's on the 2nd hand car market, as there's been/there are some extortionate corkers for sale, mainly on PH, at the moment.

Thing is i think that's loverly, apart from the horrible gash wheels and it looks a match for any of the mint ones on here apart from a few things dials, gear knob & gaitor, drivers bolster and it would have been nice to see a much more OE engine bay but 10k? Hard to ask that for it.

Agreed it no way worth 10k but the same can be said for mint s1 escort rs turbos but 10k is exactly what they sell for. Maybe in another 5 years time he will easily get 10k for it due to the fact there are very few 5s left that aren't getting near the point of either needing a full restoration or being scrapped.

Just my opinion. In all honesty with a set of standard wheels it should sell for 5k to a enthusiast.

Most couldn't justify spending £10k on that car (me included) but I simply don't buy it, I don't get worked up by it.

If prices of Renault 5 GT Turbos increase then great, many of us own them so the value of our cars will also increase. I'm not sure what the problem is, why do people moan about high priced cars. If they don't sell then more fool the owner for overpricing the car, if they do sell then good luck to them.

I own another car that is appreciating heavily at the moment and owners are quite happy about this.

Why talk down the price of a car that you have a vested interest in, if we don't talk them up who will?

The likes of many Fords and BMW's etc have been made in similar volumes and have appreciated very heavily over the last few years, these owners tend to embrace this, and why not!

lots of white, black, raiders etc.. bugger all leccy blue, silver etc etc etc, want a rare 5 thats worth something? its gonna be phase 1 and leccy blue/silver/red

this thing isn't much of anything, a miss mash i think, is it phase 1 being an E or is that the cross over? i would expect phase one goodies and styling

I agree to some degree, but the point is, they don't just go up 3 times in value overnight.

Renault 5's are slowly going up in price anyway, which is right, as they get rarer, and harder to come by in good condition.

    Hook, line, sinker

The only way you'd ever get near that £10k asking price is for a zero/delivery mileage, stored in a cocoon, example.

And the day anyone evers find a gtt like that for sale, will be the day I'll eat my hat
