Ask yourself how fast a turbo spins when at full boost, then ask yourself if 25k rpm will be able to keep up?
When you've worked that out, start the reserve price at 99p...
ive asked myself and ive got no idea how fast my turbo runs, ive only had the car 3 months and am trying to pick bits up to get more of an insight into how the car works.
a simple no its f*****ing **** would have done, and then id have know.
help is all im after not sarcasm and a riddle
Feck me, what is this, playschool? You can't win with some people on here!
If I had posted it's a pile of fecking sh1te, and a fool & his money are easily parted, you'd then be whinging that I've been offensive.
If you're not sure of something you're buying, you only have to ask. Likewise, if you want any tech advice.
they are crap, go get a bleed valve, wind the boost up and blow the headgasket. then you can learn how the car works whilst repairing it.
buy it, they are freeking brilliant!
olly chill bud, 5's aren't your local run of the mill oh squire whats up with this you need mates in this club as they knowthere stuff, as for the hamster dryer you brought, like many other you got a sucker punch bud, there total poo no decent mod will be that cheap.
also matey take the pinch of salt in the wound, then you'll no it stings next time and not do it! chill
also in ollys favour remember guys what its like when you know diddly squat, on the other hand you'll learn faster asking the questions olly, no such thing as a stupid question.
cheers ross, ijust cant beleive some of the members answers, showing off, doesnt come into it!,everybody knows more about a gtt than me, im ok with that, but each member that replied just seemed to be showing off( not to me) against each other member, its such a laugh watching them. this site should be a good laugh between friends that have a common interest( gtt) but some members just want toshow off how much they know without actually giving the advise, do ya get my drift
not really bud i think its just more light heartedness the 5's are oftern problimatic, so a sense of humpur is essential, just read and learn as it goes i know nothing either but the help is always here when needed.
Im still learning about the r5's as its my first car which uses a turbo, Ive had a lot of the same sarcasm, but there are people that help on here, and i thank them very much. As for the dicks after brownie points... well who needs them... Leave them to join the other bunch of forum Hitlers that litter then internet. As for me ill just attend most of what rtoc offers, and learn all about the r5's and get a good know how of the car and its engine, much like i did with my pugs and so on.
As for your original question on the supercharged air filter things, i think the best way to get a good quick idea of what offers decent power and what dosent, is to maybe spend a few hours looking around the web on what mods the power cars are running, which are producing impressive 1/4 mile times , or good track ability. If on any of them you see a Supercharged air filter, a big resistor chip , or indeed a exhaust whistle, then go for it. If not ..., well theres your answer.
OH my pants are wet!.....I want one of these

a word of advice to live your life by, and buy car accessories to this rule too....
if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
