    its tungy grey and has

I hardly see any 5GTT's on the road let alone get the opportunity to buy one at those sort of prices! £100, £40 !?

    Re: Bargain anyone?

he wanted fifty but i bargained downwards it was a friend from works brother, he owned it for 15 years but wanted shot of it, the £100 was growing weeds through its wheels in a garden opposite my inlaws an i had just sold my white one and just thought i would try my luck and the guys wife practically threw the keys at me when i knocked on the door to ask what he was doing with it. moral is if you dont ask you dont get. my black one will be mot'd soon and im gonna love driving it this summer, beats my transit anyway

    Re: Bargain anyone?

I got one by asking, cost me £270, nearly 100% original just high mileage. Others have cost me anywhere between £150 with an engine, £200 engine resting in boot, £400 no engine but shell mint and lots of new parts on there, and £900 which was my black 5 with full roll cage, buckets, harnesses and lots more.

it will be, but even if it ends up a track car it still gotta look respectable.

does anybody know what sort of weight you can get one of these down to without creature comforts like heaters/seats/carpet/plastics/headlining, most of the dash and the like?
