Good Q..............I'd like it to be either Jenson or Lewis...............but Schuy has a point to prove.....will be interesting but ultimately its always sketchy at the start of the year due to the new tech.

    Re: f1 bahrain

How can you bet against scumacher,
He has the car, The mental strengh and knowledge, cant see him coming back to a bad car, Or a bad team for that matter.

It must be all gravy or he would have pull out with bad neck by now If he dosnt win i hope lewis or jenson do.

I would like to see a good race between scumacher/jenson and lewis for the win win win!

looking forward to it, It has to be one the most anticapated seasons for years with two top british drivers and the z german back to test them

just look at odds, my guess all look outsiders ha

    http://www.easyodds.com/compareodds/...-38398273.html

    betfair for the win.

indeed the lack of stops for fuel has not improved things from a spectator point of view

    Re: f1 bahrain

Let's hope other tracks induce some form of close racing and overtaking, it's only the 1st race, maybe they're getting used to tyre compounds, longevity, fuel loads etc. But then again they might have simulated these scenarios already?

Track temps in testing over the winter compared to Bahrain track temps springing to mind, compounds.

    Re: f1 bahrain

Doesn't help that it's a cr8p track. Proof again that these big money new tracks just don't cut the mustard in the technical/character dept compared to the likes of Spa & Suzuka.

Australia in a fortnight's time should (hopefully) give a better idea of what's what.

    Re: f1 bahrain

Tracks following the contours of the local land, fast flowing curves/bends like Spa are the ones to look at. Bahrain in the middle of the flat desert still there's 18 different tracks to race, all having their own individual parts technical and flowing along the way.....

Very boring race ! I really do hope that they get better, i think Austrailia next week will show how the season will unfold as i am sure there will be some updates for the main teams!

Aye. A lot happened in the race but it was rather less than exciting overall.

Great to see Lotus do by far the best of the new teams. Picking up a Torro Rosso scalp in the process. Top job.

    Re: f1 bahrain

Indeed great to see lotus back in the frame. Love the yellow rims too. Spooky seeing Senna on the grid and how much he looks like the great man with his visor up.

Of course its only race one, but im worried about the effects of the lack of re-fueling. There is a distinct possibility a lot of this seasons races will be processions from start to finish. I really do hope im wrong as its a long old season this year
