The housing marks don't mean much, you need to measure the wheels. Alternatively take a picture of the turbine wheel and compressor wheel and I should be able to tell you what it is. Good pictures too, not crap ones off a phone

    Re: turbo check

info i got back off adam l (Top guy)

That's got a T25 compressor wheel with a T25 compressor housing. The turbine wheel is T2 though.

What is the a/r stamping on the exhaust housing?

What you have there is a T2/T25, not a full T25.

If it's got the .63 housing, it's a fairly unusual hybrid as that housing is very rare. What it does do though is bring out the most of a T2 turbine wheel as it's the largest T2 exhaust housing available.

in reply to me asking how much more lag it would produce etc

Your estimate of 500rpm would be a good one. I can't imagine it being much laggier than that. In my opinion, it's a good turbo for a road/track 5

    Re: turbo check

with this turbo i have which will be going on in the new year i was wondering what alterations ill need make to the carb?

im already running a 130 main @16psi and ill prob only run this new one @ 16psi for a bit so will it be ok with just the 130 main or will i need add a 0.90 air corrector ?

Hard one to say mate, depends how your car reacts with the turbo in place, may need more mods then just the ac being change.

It needs an AFR put on and then set up, i can see you having to mod second stage too if you intend to go higher on the boost

    Re: turbo check

think ill be sticking with 16psi as im quite happy with it and with this better turbo will make quite a nice difference without having big boost

thanks for the info ill have all the afr done at gt motorsport

    Re: turbo check

Yea, I'd probably leave the a/c until you start climbing above 18psi.

130 main will suffice although you're probably better off, like Mark said, sticking a wideband on it and tweeking the 2nd stage possibly
