    28/02/2009
right got finally started work on the clio got some pics but basically got the engine out and now waiting for the volvo one to arrive cheers

    painted hoist black

    lovely cam belt

notice how hig the front sits with no engine in it

the engine arrived this week so i decided to get it round to my shed little did i know its heavier than a valver lump anyway me and a couple of others managed to get it round to my shed heres a couple of pics enjoy

got the loom disconnected not very happy with this theres tons of plugs doing nothing and house hold flex has been used to connect the loom and as some of you may know it cannot hold ampage like car cable can anyway spageti junction

and got my valver gearbox mount on

    24/03/2009
right finally got the looms sorted out and tarted up pics to follow of them when i drop the engine in which if i can source an rsi top mount and valverturbo come thought with the delivery of the remaining bits
anyway had a day off today due to man flu so cracked on and started to strip the car naked for fcs enjoy

and bad light has stopped play for now any way il be running starndard volvo turbo etc for fcs and stripped out interior as ive no welder ect to do my cage again and dont want to mess it up this time will be making some custom dash housing for the gauges etc and switches and stripping lots of wiring out thats not needed

right after figuring out that the williams runners have slightly different fixing holes for the seats to bolt to i had to remove the dreaded valver ones from underneath as we all know they go rusted as feck but came off sweet so while i was there i got rid of the gash heat sheild and removed the gear shifter and got the boot tidied out ready for the sound deadening to be removed enjoy
    heat sheild

they are so comfortable and drivers has adjustable height and lumbers sweet like arm chairs

short shifter fitted and will be fitting the other piece to the gerabox end

    07/04/2009
Came home to find that my rsi top mount had been delivered so thought it would be rude not to get it mounted and get the engine in place for temporary as ive got the exhaust to sort ect still heres some pics enjoy
    up and up

In she goes running rsi top mount with valver rubber ect so i can still put the power steering reservoire in the same place clipped in

And a couple of pics from the scaffolding that is currently round the old garage thats getting rebuilt

wont be any progress as nxt week im on holiday so more to come in a couple of weeks

    23rd may 2009
got a few bits from work to move my battery into the rear as space is very tight in the bay now nice big henley block

bolted throght into the car and insulated the bolt obviously

    got the doors stripped

    changed a few sensors around

    and thats all folks

    27th may 2009

hid kit fitted and looks the muts havent got any night shots but looks cool

    all lubes ready to go

And 480 down pipe fitted to the valver flange cut and welded nice removable lambda if it ever goes wrong and some black exhasut paint will get some wrap for it also put cat on to make sure all was ok but got a silenced dcat on the way so that will be going on asap

    ready for fcs now

    24th july 2009
got the interior or whats left of it out as the cage is strating to go in nxt week started by using my favourite acid nitro mors eats paint for dinner lot easier than sanding ect also gets rid of that annoying arch glue too

    easy peasy
points cleaned for cage mounting points to be welded on

quick blast over with the rotory cleans it up a treat
also got rid of the sunroof and got a nice piece of alley from a work mate cut it and fitted not bad better than the sunny and no chance of leaking this will be getting painted nxt week along with the hole roof pcs to follow on this

    another small update
    4th august 2009
got all the zebz welded in on my plates so now i can box them in got all the boxing cut to shape will hopefully get it welded tmrw

8 plates in total mirrored both sides plates nst to card board templates
and a little delivery of my new harnesses e approved snap on claspes with eye bolts also source some metal tube for my harnesses bar cheers

    before
these are the worst turbine ive seen never been touched ever but abit of fairy dust and you get this

    15th september 2009
right after a small trip to mat browns picking up some rockers i aslo got a bargain on a fibreglass bonnet skin is very thin has a few holes from prvious bonnet pins and a about 10million pin prick holes from where the mould wasnt the best but ow well im very happy (cheers mat) anyway ive started work on it as i want it on for pod amoungst my wheels ect
Holes fibreglassed up and ive patcheed them quite thick as this is where the bonnet pins will be refixed so needs to be thick

There was a small hole in the bonnet scoop i wont be running it as its extra weight but will still have the bulge

carbon look is going for matt black

Ive given it a full miss coat of primmer to show up every lump and bumps

    let the filling commence

    stripped

also they fitted valver arb suspension and wishbones to the dimsel which was nice

colour to be decided but im going for something out of the ordinary
Had a small delivery also of my new intercooler pipe work and connections

And finally got a flange to fit my new blower off a nissan 200sx will have to be fabricated as if i was to fit it like it is it would be sticking through the bonnet nice

Got the whole subframe degreased with a good brush and washing up liquid then decided to lighty sand the whole thing and get rid of the rust in a few place where it had it and gave it a coat of kurust and allowed to dry for about 30mins

after that ive given it a good coat of red oxide this stuff is awsome and gives it a great surface for painting and is an excellent primer

What do they look like exactly?

I think they maybe actually on the bottom of the seats I have.

Oh and how did you get the sticky sound deadening stuff off the floor of the car?
