    Cgb oilcooler sandwich plate prob..

Ok i bought a FMOC from cgb recently which i'm very happy wit but i went to fit it and i'm slightly confused..i jus fitted a recon head etc.. Fitted all d bits..Went to start..ticked over perfect den it pissd oil outa d sandwich plate between d block.i hav it pretty tight wit a gasket (used one from an old oil filter) < which could b d prob.. But i'm wonderin on this plate there is 3 ports 2 on top and one on d side wit a thermostat.i currently hav it in the top two flowin tru d cooler wat i'm wonderin is should i hav one in d thermostat port and this is causeing a build up of pressure and leakin out the gasket or would it matter? Any advise or suggestions would b greatly appreciated.

I'd put a new gasket on the sandwich plate mate, once they come off the block old gaskets never want to seal up properly.

Yes cgb sorry, also sorry about d spelling i'm using my phone here an i iz used 2da tx ;-). Ya thats wat i'm thinkin..none came wit the kit so thats the best i could do also the nut securing the plate back is quite hard to grip wit a socket to giv it that extra squeeze.ill just have to try that. Cheers lads
