just had a bit of a read about the amount of reni 5s people have owned on another thread, god some people have had over 5, it must be in the blood.

Here is a little list of car i have bought.

I can honestly say the bm is the best car i have owned, so nice to drive, really good mpg and hopefully should not loose to much cash on it.

The cooper s was the best small car i have had or driven, loved it.

But have went back to my youth and bought another 5, my favorite car i have ever owned, despite all the head ache and it being a money pit

brought a 1.1 fiesta but never drove it and scrapped it.
drove the gfs 205xs, tuned the head and from there i stemed a love for french.
6 months later brought a 1.9 205 got through 2x 1.9 8v lumps before finding a good one.
then brought the F reg r5 without knowing much,, it was rotton,
then brought my j plate
currently kicking about in a 1.1 saxo (brilliant run about)

mate that thing was the bain of my life lost count how many times i broke down in it ,driveshaft bolts would vibrate then snap you have to nick some from the other shaft and hope to get home . happend to me once on a bank holiday in the middle of nowhere

Pulsar was awesome for the cash, i only had it about 2 months, garage wrote it off. I bought a mongoose exhuaust and air filter, and honest if felt like 40hp had been unleashed. I never believed in stage one mods, but they worked on the pulsar

The evo 6 i had for about 6 months i think, nice car, i had planed to make a 400hp monster, but ended up buying a 8 and making that a monster. I lived evos for about 4 years but ended up in trouble with the law. They beat scoobs all day long for me, more street presence about them, more reliable and kill them on the twistys.

If i wanted 1 all round car ie track, shopping, kids etc the you can not go wrong with an evo 5 or 6 for about £6-£7k. The will run with the best of sports cars, embarrassing most. To sum up an evo working mans super car . But they are a bit charvey now.
