    Do they need honing?

I've got a set of liners to rebuild with. A mates coming thursday to hone them for me but on a quick clean up they already have lots of marks.
I took a couple of pics to get some opinions on wether or not they need redoing. I was told they came from a firly new engine.
    Cheers

They look alright from the pictures. You can still see the old machining marks ie the cross hashing effect.

Honing will just deglaze them and tidy them up, it wont ruin them or oversize the bores... You can buy a tool to fit your drill and DIY them at home yourself...
