    investing cash in items

Well i like the idea of investing cash in a few items and something i speant a few quid on last night was 3x lego sets from the late 80s early 90s, all of which are boxed and 100% complete.

Just wondering if anybody else invests in items and what items exactly.

Im hoping, possibly in vain, that some of my vinyl will gain value. I know the early Nirvana vinyl/CD's (pre Nevermind) i have are already worth serveral hundred quid

Technic Lego was where it was at Anyone remember the car chassis one? Man that was an epic build as i remember

Grandmaster Flash, dance music pioneer!!! White Lines wasnt it or was that someone else? And no, i could never sell ANY records so i guess that doesnt make for much of an investment as such Just a way of chucking money away . . . . Same could be said of the 5, i see that as an investment, but would i ever sell it? Cant see it happening in the near future. I guess that makes me a poor businessman

Well, it just randomly came up in conversation one day I am trying to find all 5 boxes, they should have a value of about 2k together. Although the value is obviously not why i have/want them.
