    rear wheel bearings

    hi ,
    for over 2 hours today iv been tryin to remove an old bearing from reat disc, the bearing has come out not the bearing race, any ideas ?

    what are the old discs like ??

    if u have the money get new discs and press the bearings in.

    they should press out go to a local garage should only charge £5

    last time i did discs they were £19 a side ,try your local motor factors work out cheaper and gsf some times

    You've taken the retaining clip out yeah?

    as you can see, because of the shoulder that the bearing presses up against you cant get anything to press on the O/D of the bearing whilst trying to get it out. You were pushing on the inner race / middle of the bearing to try and get it out ?

    all sorted fellas, purchased new bearings, discs and pads , fitted this evening and very happy just the front steering rack gaitor in the morning .
