i thought it was a bit of a bargain almost worth being lazy and getting them to do it
yer i agree most garage would charge you much more than that for labour years ago over here on the isle of man i asked about getting a head gasket done on a gtt.
was quoted over 500£ and that was with out the gasket parts and the skimming so this looks cheap i mean they even change ur engine oil for you
Or spend a weekend and £60 and learn something, with a Haynes manual of course!
i can do it my self but it would be ideal for some 1 who doesnt want to
i can do it myself too just a bit lazy sometimes!!!
Honestly i think thats quite pricey myself, i charge people alot less than that but in fairness i don't have overheads to consider at the moment like they do.

Are they not just BB tuning started up under another name and premises?
£300 nicker for a job I reckon I could nearly do blindfolded
I think that it's a fair price. How many of you DIYers change all the gaskets they state?
I bet nobody changes the water pump dividing gasket (when you split the pump in half)? Most won't have the facility to skim the head or sleeve the oil gallery themselves?
thats what i mean for all the things they do skimming etc and for a novice its a good price
I dont do the middle of the water pump gasket, if it aint broke dont fix it
