I've started making the bits up to let me test the F4R head. First job bore out a bit of the blue block to 82.7mm
It's all about the precision
This is my best guess for where the bead bolts should be relative to the bore

a few more bits whilst I'm having a coffee...
I finished the blue block, drilled and tapped some holes so I could fit some M10 studs and made some dowels to hold the head in the right place relative to the bore.
The head is held down with 4 nuts
I've started on something to open the valves
all being well I'll get that finished and do some tests later tonight.

you got a b18ft head you could test to see how it stacks up against the c1j head just out of curiosity
