Another good day out but I couldn't run as the lumpyness has got worse I'm sure I have at least one injector down and it's popping and banging on idle and feels very hesitant at anything above 10psi .
It did get better on the way home but is no where near being right .I'm going to have to find the cause or on National day I'll just be sitting in the shop tent all day
I have also lost my crown to another Scoff tuned Adaptronic GTA Though he does have 1/2 a liter more than me so I don't feel too bad

Prize to anyone who can tell me what this is Clue ...It's Renault engined .

Re your rough running, map sensor and fuel reg pipework OK, no leaks etc ?

Yep... Tony's .

I can't remember his best trap ...but his worst was 13.2 @104.5 ...at Brunt
5.1 0-60 and 150+ top end ( flying start though )

I have no leaks as far as I can tell thus far .I'm going to just work through all the possibles .I removed the injector plugs one by one and #3 seemed to make no difference so I'm going to start there .

Cool, does that make Tony No.1 ? Bet he's itching for a 12 second pass I was looking at the results on the alpine forum, couldn't see his.

Re no.3 injector, guess you checked compression and spark on that pot too ?

I did tell him to get his ass to our Pod day ....12 is well within his grasp if you compare my runs at Brunt to those at Pod .He went to Retro show but only got one run in and it was ****e ......
I must get that new lump built Mr Faulks should be finishing testing the heads this weekend .They are all done but we want to get some figures on the bench .

#3 pot is fine ,170psi and showing as much spark as the rest .I will go through it all again ....

Swap the injectors round, see if the fault follows the injector!

I'm loathed to buy some more 330s even at only £30 a pop from Renault as we're going to need a lot bigger units for the new build .

Dave Miles was there as well Scoff .He's very happy with the car at present he was putting in some good times also .
