Was a good day though .Met up with the Red GTA owner as he was there for the weekend .It is quick Not many mods but all doing the business .Top fellas as well and I may have convinced him to join the RTOC so I won't be alone anymore .
We managed to organise a head to head for my last run which must have looked hope someone got some pics or vid .
I got my best time of the day on that run , managed to just get into the 100mph.... 13.63 @ 100.18
Steve ( Red GTA ) 13.47@103 He was getting 13.2 yesterday and a low 13 today I think , his bigger turbo blew so running a std one today .
Good 60ft ,1.93 and 1/8th @ 80.35 all day but I'm running out of turbo top end ...

    Re: York Raceway

glen put out an impressive 13.5 until the rev limiter did not limit and melted one piston but we took the head off and closly inspected nothing damaged apart from a piston and a liner but other than that a dam good run on r888!!! impressive but couldent get traction

Impressive? with the power its putting out i was expecting a 12.5 at least not a 13.5! Mind you, it is a dire surface at york. Get some slicks on and get down to Pod fella
Bad news on the melt down , hope you get it rebuilt in time for the run to the coast on the 26th.

not really pal as i was on road tyres with a 108 trap speed and a 13.5 time if i was to put 9in wide drag slicks on. it would not be a problem i could of improved if the rev limiter hadnt failed causing a ring to nip theres always next time from the nos lover by for now

I just looked at the times and think 'they seem a bit off' and then you go look at the official reading, and there is some weird stuff going on, check out the 60ft times..

    http://yorkdragway.intrica.co.uk/res...10-12;car=T172

Lee, didnt you gain a second over your previous time?

    Yes

The 60ft times from that event are a bit wrong .Seems they had a problem or manual data input

A lot of the runners are showing that error but the traps seem consistent

Yep, his trap seems consistant with a car with about 280-300bhp.
