I've been to the gym this morning, shaved my head and going to have a big dump before I leave... Want to be as light as possible!

A big thanks to mick for putting the go karting together. I had a good night.
I have 4 time slips here so I will post up the fastest for each driver tonight unless someone has all 5 and can do it before.

    Well done mick

I would love to do a outdoor circuit with faster karts.
    It won't be cheap though.
Do you think you could put one together mick?
I would be prepared to help out if needed.

Yeah me and couple of mates went few times last summer, ten times better then the indoor jobs, even better if the sun is out and the track was hot you could take the corners at silly speeds if you neck and arms could take the force!

I was looking at thruxton and sandown park.
Neither are cheap but you get what you pay for I guess.
Would need to call them for quotes but I think hiring the place solely for a RTOC event is out of the question, but I see no reason why we can't get a few together and tag along with whatever they have running.

Phil is emailing me a price list later.
I don't mind helping out but I don't want to put it together though.

    Hi Phil,

My recommendations are the Daytona Mini Grand Prix, or The Daytona Cup.

    Daytona Mini Grand Prix
This exciting multi race format is perfect for groups of mixed experience and ability with several shorter races and plenty of opportunities to move up the leader board.
Each driver will take to the circuit for a short practice to warm up, learn the circuit and get used to the karts.
We then grid up for 3 individual qualifying heats with rotating starting positions – all drivers start one race near the front, one near the middle, and one near the back.
This gives all competitors a real chance to end up on pole position for the Grand Final – all drivers qualify.
5 minute practice for every driver
    3 x 8 minute heats races
    10 minute Grand Final

    The Daytona Cup
This format is a head to head sprint race…
Each driver would enjoy a 5 minute practice/qualifying session in which they would get to grips with both the kart and the circuit.
There then follows the 30 Minute race, and at the green light, drivers would race head to head in a sprint to the finish.
5 minute practice/qualifying for every driver
    30 minute Race

There is a minimum billing of 20 drivers for Exclusive Races on The GP Circuit at Daytona Sandown Park, with a maximum of 30 drivers.

Daytona Sandown Park Circuit Our Standard Prokart – Twin Engine capable of 60mph…

Exclusive Mini GP = £ 70 per driver inc VAT
Exclusive Daytona Cup = £55 per driver inc VAT
Of course these prices include all necessary Race Gear, Safety Briefing, Trophies for the top 3 drivers and the Podium Photo Presentation.

If you would like to proceed with a booking, we require a 50% deposit, along with a signed, returned booking form. The balance is due no later than 10 days prior to racing. I trust this meets with your requirements, if you need anything further then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you again for considering Daytona and I look forward to your thoughts!

    Regards

Looks good and its a little further north of London so we may be able to bring a few south.
But I'm sure it will be the usual suspects
