White R5 Gtt - Durham - £1350 ono

White R5 gtt for sale:

To sum the car up briefly its a tidy, solid, reliable car but the paint is poor. It runs so sweet, I've never known a carb'd 5 run so well.

Spec:
Std engine, top end has been re-built.
Rover Tomcat T25 turbo running 1 bar boost.
Full Set of Samco Water Hoses in black.
Alloy carb top.
Std position alloy intercooler (Pace?).
Standard interior.
Clio Turbine wheels with very good tyres.
Comes with brand new front bumper, just needs paint.
A file full of history, if you're into that.
No MOT, but will put one on for an extra £50.00.
9 previous owners.
Full electric tilt and slide sunroof.

This car could be mega mint with a lick of paint and some love.

Bad points:
roof lining needs sorting out, A non sunroof one could be cut to fit perfectly.
There is a rust patch under the drivers door.
Side skirts need new clips.
The rim of one wheel has been damaged, just spotted it today, never seen it before & I have no idea how it happend either which is weird :confused:

Yeah there has been one local to me since April and was a bag of spanners! I know its not ideal for the track but I quite like the fact its got an electric sunroof!! Ha. I would of snapped it up already if you were closer, seems like a bargain to me if its all running sweet? Wonder if its legal to tow it back with an A frame might need to be taxed??

I know that I read it in the ad, it didn't say whether there was any road tax left on it. Only asking as a train ticket to Durham and day insurance would allow it to be driven back ;)

Sorry, no MOT or tax... However if someone was serious I would be happy to MOT it, swap my insurance over as My 5 aint going nowhere for a while and tax it... I'd have to check that my insurance company could do it though and the cost of the tax would have to be covered upfornt by the buyer. :agree:

I've been in this car and it's unbelivebaly cheap for the condition and mechanical soundness.
Proper bargain.....way to cheap if you ask me George.
