Just wanted to agree, ********sleeping policemen!!!
Re: ******* sleeping policemen!!
Well i cant blame the sleeping policeman as it wasn't the cause and maybe just coincidence. It seemed to be the clutch pedal not adjusting. I removed the block, pulled up the pedal. I could now get gears but the clutch was slipping and biting right at the top due to over adjustment and obviously disengaging the clutch slightly. Blocky set it half way i presume and it seems ok now. I think the quadrant assembly isnt self adjusting??? Anyone had this problem??

I remember a way of how to get the quadrant to adjust again, push the clutch pedal all the way down and release it quickly by sliding your foot off to the side. Do this a couple of times and see if that makes a difference.
