unfortunately it's not the way it looks mate. Not a chance for a big fmic if you wanna keep the stock bumper.

there seems to be at the top of the rad but the bumper comes in very close lower down?

You will be able to get a decent grille mount i/c in the top, i had a forge universal75mm core to fit on my old one! If you want more room lose the crossmember:)
