Forza Motorsport 3 Omg!

hey folks, got chatting to one of the lads from my xbox friends and he basicly said "have you seen the forza 3 trailers yet?" i didnt even know there was any but from what he tells me this game is truly going to be ground breaking! so ive been looking it up on youtube

im not getting too excited incase the list he read is an unofficial one, but if damn im getting really excited about this game

Awesome! Can't view those vids, because they're blocked at work, but if it's anything like Forza 2 it will be amazing! GT Turbo? Now that would be cool!

ive bairley played forza 2, i got anoyed when i got to the american muslc e spec challenge.. they are soooo hard.

is it only on the box? or ps3 aswell?

The past 2 have been Xbox only, so I presume Xbox with this as well. It's one of the best games on the Xbox (probably my favourite tbh), and worth getting an Xbox alone for :D

been watching the hidef vids from e3 aswell (being passed around at work :) )

it does look awsome.. just in time for when I go back in doors ..october :agree:

with that and modern warfare 2 it's going to be a pretty good winter :)

forza 2 is simply one of the best driving ive ever played and believe me ive played alot of games, the racing was so close due to the cars being in classes and downloadable set ups!

forza 3 will be so damn special tho, and if the car list is real that my mate said, it would be even more crazy! i feel a rtoc gtt race being a big hit!

They look fantastic, cant wait for this one!! :cool:

Does anyone know if there will there be an interior view in Forza 3?

I like the look of it but I can't get used to it. I have tried, god help me I have tried! But I keep on reverting back to the front bumper view, I's fast with that son! Yeahh!!!!

Forza 2 had the 5 Turbo in it but having the GT Turbo will be awesome

there's no debatin that this game does look pretty awsome, but gt5 is still work in progress and looks awsome already plus i'm a ps3 guy so i'm gonna favour gt:rolleyes:

i have a ps3 also and yes gt prologue really becomes gran turismo when you have the steering wheel, but thats only in 1 player, if you go online its so bad ive only played it twice ever

but yeah we will see what happens when gt5 comes out but i wont be holding my breath for the online modes, yes the playstation 3 online has improved but its still crap compared to xbox live

I've got both a PS3 and Xbox as well, and got to say, going off Prologue, I prefer Forza.

It feels a lot more realistic

Also - according to Wikipedia, Forza 3 will have interior views :D Roll on October!

prologue is more like a demo than a full game, but its all going to be interesting when they both go head to head at the end of the year

have you played prologue with the official steering wheel? i have and its simply awesome with it, also ive been told the steering wheel works brilliantly with forza but i havent had the chance to try it out, so i will be buying the steering wheel for the new forza

Yeh, I know, but I was refering to the gameplay. Prologue has the same gameplay as the full game will have, but the full game will (obviously) have all the cars / tracks and whatnot.

Yeh, I can imagine the wheel makes it better. I bought a wheel for Forza 2, and used it twice then sold it. They are good, but they are just a pain in the arse sometimes! You need to have a table set up to the right height, a seat set up to the right height / distance from the wheel and pedals..

Forza feels better imo, because you have a better feel for overstear, understear, wheelspin, etc, where as GT just feels very linear. Like you're on train tracks!

Oh man didn't know this was coming out aint played on the xbox for months! better try and finish more of the 2nd game before this one comes out! looks great! hope there's some good old skool motors to paint up in the game! :D

No doubt forza3 will be hugely popular with console gamers. I'd love to see a proper balls out racing simulation mainstream game though that actually requires a degree of skill and practise to be quick at - utilizing heel-toe downshfts, tyre deformation and what not

It'll be the best racing game out for the console. Fun yes.. But its not a Simulator.:coffee:

mk2 golf gti

4wd

do not buy racing suspension, just keep standard

that should be pretty respectable, you will leave the opposition standing at the start and the car aint too powerfull that they are undriveable, and with the remaining available points that you have remaining for the class you have chosen to modify the car to, spend on things like lightening the car

i think i started with a golf gti mk2, but to be honest as long as you have 4wd you really cant go wrong, but i chose the golf cause it was cheap and its pretty light, and all you have to do is put the vr6 engine from the corrado, 4wd, lighten it, and you will pretty much destroy whatever the computer has to offer

but when you go racing online its a totally different kettle of fish, you need to be able to use the clutch aswell cause it gives you an advantage

my xbox elite is on its last legs to be honest, and its already been back to microsoft to be repaired once and ive had mine just over a year now

at least the elite has come down in price now

Shame you didn't get it after June 09 as they all have the new Jasper Chipset which runs cooler, quieter and is red ring proof.
